Our story
My love for childcare began long before it became my career. Growing up in a big family, I was surrounded by the energy, joy and, of course, the beautiful chaos that comes with having lots of people around you. From a young age, I loved being involved with the younger children in my family, and those early experiences sparked something that has stayed with me ever since — a genuine love for caring for children and supporting the people around them.
Over the years, that love has grown into a career built around children and families. I have had the privilege of working with families from a variety of backgrounds and supporting children through different stages of their development. Every family is different, and I believe the best childcare starts with taking the time to understand those differences.

How I care
Every day is built around warm relationships and familiar routines — the things that help children feel secure enough to explore. I plan meaningful learning opportunities inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia, spend time outdoors in most weathers, and keep food simple, nutritious and balanced.
Children are cared for as individuals. Some need a gentle lead-in to a new day, some want to be outside before anything else, and some simply want to know that the same person will be there tomorrow. I would rather build around that than ask a child to fit a routine.

Why a dandelion?
There's a reason you'll find a dandelion at the heart of the Kin by Alice logo. I believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.
Dandelions are resilient. They can grow in gardens, fields, between paving stones and in places where you might not expect a flower to grow at all. They adapt to their surroundings, put down roots and find a way to flourish. To me, that represents childhood beautifully.
Children don't all grow in the same circumstances, and no two children are the same. Each child has their own personality, strengths, challenges, interests and way of seeing the world. What they need to flourish may look different from one child to the next.
With the right support, encouragement and relationships around them, children can develop the resilience and confidence to grow into themselves — wherever they come from and wherever life takes them. That's what I want Kin by Alice to represent.
A safe place to put down roots.
A space to explore and grow.
